Welcome to www.philosophy.dk!
As a project www.philosophy.dk is a prolongation of one of my other projects, the Danish Philosophical Counselling (Filosofisk Rådgivning).
As a first step I have tried to establish my credentials as a professional philosopher, presenting my academic curriculum vitae and my list of publications, linking to a few examples of my writings in English.
The next two steps, a presentation of academic philosophy in Denmark (and Scandinavia), and a guide to philosophy around the world will place these credentials in an obscure corner, but is still, however, under construction.
One of my aims with this site is to present unknown corners of the professional philosophical world to more adventurous philosophers, that is philosophers who do not only feel attracted to highly prestigious universities like MIT, Oxford, Sorbonne or Frankfurt, but acknowledge the marginal position as somehow privileged, when it comes to making interesting experiences.
But be patient! As I have written before: This is only a hobby project, with no financial support. And as a part-time teacher at Danish universities with no stable income, I have to spend some time cultivating various opportunities!
